When we told folks we were playing at Death By Audio, the universal reaction was, “Wow, it’s usually a little, uhh, heavier there.” But you know what? We sing like wimps, but we’re punks, and Death By Audio is our kind of place. Chris Brokaw used to play with GG Allin, so the Bears/Ferries can play wherever the hell we want.

Anyway, what a great place stocked with great people. Totally unpretentious, lots of good times eating fried chicken with the door guy and drinking PBR with the nice people who showed up. Sadly, we had to bid farewell to the Ferries, but we nestled ourselves into Pete + Kara’s beautiful Brooklyn apartment and snoozed like angels.
